Sunday 9th October

[Dani]

First river trip of the year! Hope you can all make it!
This weeks trip will take place on Sunday 9th October due to the Liffey Descent being on the Saturday! (Which you should all head in and see if you can, it will be great!) We shall be heading to the Lucan Weir for some super fun times!

We'll be meeting at the boathouse at 10 o'clock and a bus will bring us out to Lucan where we shall embark on our adventure!
The boathouse is located past the sports pitches, between the Centre for Sports Studies and the dirt car park, the door has a disco paddler on it so should hopefully not be too hard to find.

The trip costs €10, which covers all your gear, boats, instructors and a bus there and back to UCD.

Also, even if some people haven't come out with us yet, that's no problem! Everyone is welcome and we still love you. We're also possibly having a BBQ afterward so even more reason to come along!

As always, you will need some thermals or old clothes (not cotton) for keeping warm, an old pair of shoes, swimsuit, towel and change of clothes! Any kayaking gear you may have would also be useful

SIGN UP below so we can know what approximately how many people are coming

Depends on finding somewhere to put my head down for the night. I'm up for the liffey descent on saturday.
Eoghan highway to dangerzone is one of those songs with a great intro but crap song, I do love it but for the cheese factor and like many great eighties songs for the abuse of the sax.
I would be driving so no need for a bus for me!

[Ross]

I'll be there, looking forward to it

Ohh a Sunday trip!! Might actually be able to make an appearance at this, all depends on what i do Sat night.

As i have only been in a boat once since this time last year I am very much favouring staying in bed over seeing what state my gear is after many months in a wet dry bag!
