This week in the UCDCC!

Hello everyone!

A big thanks to everyone who came and took part in Freshers Weekend, it was a great success and wouldn't have been nearly as much craic without all of you!

So here's the plan for the next week:

There will be another pool session on this Thursday, leaving the main gates of Trinity at 6.30pm, followed by a nice pub session! If you haven't been around as of yet this would be a perfect time to come along and learn the basics to prepare for river trips!

This Saturday we will be meeting at 10am at the boathouse and will be heading out to the Liffey for a day of super fun happy times!

Next Tuesday there will be a talk in the UCD Global Lounge with Tom Bannon and  Benny Cullen about their adventures on the Zambezi river! It should be a great night so everyone should come along!

And as always we have our lovely lunches every Monday and Tuesday at the board (follow the green line in the arts block) with delicious biscuits and super adventures!

Ooooh! Shiny new global lounge!

Okay, firstly not enough colour! Secondly, where is the global lounge?

you frickin oldies know nothing, next you will be saying that you dunno the location of the (previously secure) tunnel entrance that now is open due to building works, although it has an easyily scaled fence around it.

The global lounge is situated in the basement of the restaurant building. Its recently been renovated to have a shitload of comfortable chairs and a wall of television screens which during the day have all different news channels on but for our presentation will be wired into one large hd screen. all in all the room is kinda kick ass

Well I'm on campus once a week, so there was a chance that i would see it but for other oldies they may not be on campus at all. Also I've been on a mission in the underground passages, the mission was to drink in the underground passage ways, it was successful.
