I heard about
this over the weekend. It's a combined freestyle whitewater competition in Galway on the 21st and 22nd January. Quite cheap at only a tenner. Freestyle on Tuam (if possible) or Clifden and whitewater on the Boluisce. Registration closed today but if anyone wanted to go they might be able to sign up if they asked soon.
There's an award for most Buckfast drunk over the weekend too (I think they said) for all of you whose tastes are so inclined.
