Clare Glens Race - 24Nov
« on: November 13, 2012, 16:08:19 »
Hey Fun-bots!

Just a quick reminder that the Clare Glens Race is rapidly approaching.

In what will certainly be one of the most fun experiences in the last eternity,  a bunch of folks will go down the wooshy bits, around the gurgly bits and over the fwompy bits in a bid to expedite more quickly than any of the other people who have been allowed out on day-release.

10.00 in the Glens car-park

This is obviously very weather dependent and will be confirmed or denied closer to the date.

Here's a picture of Nuala winning it last year.

Peace homie.

hmm...it is very tempting alright.

I'm in the same boat with not having run it before...where does one find the time?
One could always do a sneaky run, first thing.

There were a feww people last year who got a run in that morning. Also you can run it for the first time during the race, Ken did that last year and was fine. This video is actually a good summary.

I'd be happy enough to race it blind,

I'd just get a better time if I knew where I was going the whole way down.
