Polo boats for the DCPL

Hello wonderful people!

You may or may not know that the gray(Geckos) boats that we use in the DCPL actually belong to another club (Wild Water Kayak Club). Over the years they've been really sound and let us use their boats, but there is some cost to them in added wear-and-tear (95% of this is bumpers coming off).

They have asked us to do a few things to help reduce this, and they're all pretty reasonable.
Whether or not we'll be able to use them in future depends on us doing these things.
Please do them! We have no other boats that we can use!

A. Bring along some duct-tape to make temporary repairs if any damage happens.
B. To report to them any damage that happens so that they can be properly fixed.
C. To empty as much water as possible from the boats before returning them to the racks.
D. To always place the boats nose-up on the racks.
E. (dding this one myself) try and ensure that you don't bang the ends off the ground when carrying boats.

*emptying water means that less damage happens because of less weight. Front bumpers get a lot more abuse during play, so storing the boat on their tail helps balance this out.

In future we might be helping them out with repairs, but they haven't made a call on this yet.[/color]
