Hi Everyone,
Please be in Lynams car park for 9.00am tomorrow. Race briefing is at 9.30am. You must attend this briefing to race. If you cannot attend you must have spoken to me before hand.
You should be in your equipment ready to go at the rave briefing at 9.30 we will discuss safety issues and the running order.
Registration will be taken by ROSS
The cost of entry is 5euro: this all goes towards the prizes which are bought from my own pocket so please find ROSS and pay him as soon as you get there.
Between 9.30 and 10.30 the freshers will be taken down the run in and get a go at Jacksons. So everyone else is free to run Jacksons and warm up. Finch will running the freshers down so if you are asked to provide safety please do so.
IMPORTANT: Freshers if you take a look at Jacksons on the day and decide it isn't for you that is totally fine. For your fun boaterX run you may stop at the eddy on river left above Jacksons and get out there. You are NOT obliged to run Jacksons.
The Fun boaterX will start promptly at 10.30.
Safety
While we will discuss rescue on the day as per most boaterX these days those not racing will provide rescue for those racing so please be willing to take your turn. Eoghan will be overseeing the rescue placement so hopefully if everyone takes a turn you won't be stuck doing rescue for too long at anyone time.

Best Competitor (for the individual who was both most helpful on the day but also gave the paddling their all)
Best Fresher Guy
Best Fresher Girl
Best Swim
....possibly a few more sport prizes on the day.
Running order for the fun BoaterX and Sportivo BoaterX heats will be posted later today.
