Week 12 river trip?

Howdy guys!

So we've decided to run a trip to Bulloch Harbour this SUNDAY!!!!.  The plan would be to paddle to Dalkey Island, have lunch and paddle back :)

As it's the last day of term, we're going to run it as a private trip, so cars with roof racks will be needed! :D

Usual plan of meet at 10am at the boathouse

i will be going to dublin this saturday.

very very likely i wouldn't be able to go to this, but im so intrested in the idea of paddleing to a island that i need to investigate the possibilty, how long would it take, what time would ya expect to be back on "the mainland"?

how's car space?, i dont plan on driving up as it stands, id say i would need a car to get home on time if i were to do this but as im intrested id consider it, id also have to get myself roof racks, does great out doors do them?

I had to zoom in 500% to see the last bit Rory. It has been changed to Sunday, not sure how that affects your plans, car space is a plenty!

humm, i still cant say for sure.
i have decided not to drive to dublin, but i knew i was sunday, i wouldnt be able to do it if was on saturday.

im woundering about what train back to limerick id be able to get from heuston


p.s. andy, you could always copy and pste, ...or even highlight and right click to get the "search google for..." thing up

Hey everyone - won't be able to make it in the end - too much essay prep. to do still! Sure I'll see some of you at the committee hand-over dinner on Tues! To the rest of ye, best of luck with your exams - sure ye'll be grandd! ;)

As it stands  i plan to come on this trip. this is up for possible changes until 9:58 sunday morning, when i will fully decide then.

....also, anyone want to pack a lunch for me?
...drysuit or no?
strach that, i wont see a reply in time for it to help me decide to bring it to dublin or not
