Paddling to Ireland's Eye this weekend
« on: June 24, 2015, 21:12:57 »
Anyone interested in paddling to Ireland's eye this weekend? Preferably Saturday. Plan would be drive to Howth and paddle from there. There is rain forecast but I'm not sure it will be enough to bring up the rivers.

Oh dear, I think I'm in. But god, sea kayaking's like the only thing that gives me motion sickness.

Good trip, more of an adventure than expected. Included some scary climbing and a burning hill.

Yeah, it was more like the eye of Sauron than Ireland's eye
