Freshers Poll
« on: September 11, 2015, 11:58:40 »
Hey guys!  :)

So, we have been debating what to do seeing as the world cup is on this year and is clashing with our weekends away. We looked at the possibility of moving it to a different weekend but this wasn't a viable option. Instead of just deciding if we are watching the match or doing a river trip on Sunday the 11th  for ye, we said we would put it to an open vote. This way, no one can complain :)

Ye have a week to vote and then the poll will be removed. You may change your vote until the poll is removed.

Could it not be left for closer to the weekend so we know the stakes on the match?

Unfortunately not as buses need to be booked and instructors found :(

I'd be skeptical Kieran, I'd imagine we'd get back just in time for it to finish...

We worked it out and we'd miss at least the first half if we abandoned the trailer and ran to the clubhouse...

A nice dose of very early morning pot banging :P

If you have a river trip you wouldn't be back before dark, it always takes so much longer than expected in the mornings.

So guys voting is CLOSED! and it was extremely tight. With one vote in it... it looks like the Irish match has won!

This means there will be no kayaking on the Sunday. Instead, we shall be heading back to the UCD clubhouse bar to watch the Ireland V France game in an obligatory bonding session due to the special occasion, that is the IRB World Cup. :) (p.s. I had no influence over the voting of members)
