SUNDAY PADDLING
« on: January 19, 2005, 17:02:20 »
Hey Everyone

Just thought i'd let ye know that we've managed to get a bus for free from the wonderful marathon bus co. for this sunday.

Basically the ICU are organising a trip on the liffey to raise money for the tsunami fund and we'd love to have a huge crowd, show our faces, give a bit of support and all that, apart from the obvious it'd be great for all you wannabe alps paddlers (freshers and oldies alike) to get out paddling as much as possible. It's only an 18 seater so if people could let me know asap if theyre gonna be around that'd be great, also if there's any drivers around with space in cars we'd love to have you around too.

Meeting at the boathouse at 10:00 (early i know but very worth it anyway if u'r a true paddler you won't have been to bed yet and'll still be drunk!!!) the trip will cost 10 euro like the saturday trips, but all that money will go to the tsunami victims fund, and obviously extra donations will be very welcome!

Hope you can all make it out,
See you there,
Meabh

Its times like these I wish I was quite so damn lazy and had learned to drive!

I think its because you are so lazy that you didn't learn to drive.
Me on the otherhand passed my test almost a full two weeks ago.
