This Saturday the trip will be to fresh and moving water!! we're heading to Lucan to  fire you all over a weir!

Meeting at the boat house at 10:00, the trip will cost €10 to cover the cost of your instructors for the day and transport there and back.

Should be a fun day, no more trips to Dun Laoghaire!! Bring your thermals and something to eat for afterwards (a couple of sneakies would also go down a treat!!!)

See you Saturday so....

guys, just to re-iterate that if you are not warmly dressed this weekend you will be miserable after ten minutes on the water. Anything you wear on the liffey will stink of river for ever-more, so the best thing to do is wear old fleeces that you hate now, or else go to penneys and grab a couple of cheap ones.

Also, wear old runners or something on your feet, not just a pair of socks. You will be getting on and off the river all day so shoes will be essential. THey will also acquire the liffey scent, so dont use your newest shiniest nike air control system ones.

NO COTTON.

enjoy your first weir!!!

I'm virtually there.  I've dipped me knackers in an ice bucket to make it more like 'the real thing' tm.
