This saturday we are running the best river in Ireland - the boyne.

As per usual to the boathouse at 10am sharp.

Be there sharper than usual cos this is a long trip.

 if you don't actually swing by the boathouse don't be surprised if you don't have a canoe.

and finally it may be a bit chilly.

hey, someone asked me to instruct on sat. but i deleted the message (sorry). anyhows, i am not allowed to paddle this week, but see my physio next week so should be back on the radar then.

have a great day out. first trip on the boyne is always a memorable occasion...and it should be big water too

Time. I think we should revisit brendino's idea for trips that we do the car drop as soon as possible, if that means unhitching the trailer to do it. Also not to sound like too much of a nagging ned, if you want to paddle a good boat or one that is most suited to you, get to the boathouse early. Crazy idea but help the committee by getting there before 10 this means we could all be gone by half ten. On the water before one and off before it starts getting dark. Anyone who was around on Sunday or monday will know what I mean. Anyway had barrels of fun over the weekend bring on the next trip.
