Canoe club Ball

Just to let everybody know that the canoe club ball will be held in Lyhnams of Laragh on saturday 3rd March from 7pm. Myself and Niamh will post more information on price next week once we do some sums. It will be similar in nature to last year, with a couple of new competitions to help you earn free drink and get pissed.

So dust off the suits guys and ladies start shopping for new dresses as the only event in the clubs calendar that people are not in fancy dress is on the way.

Laragh = Glendalough, give or take. Leave the N11 at Kilmacanogue, go through Roundwood, through Annamoe, into Laragh. there'll be all sorts of drivers etc so if you'll be getting a lift the location isn't all that important. but just for your information... yeah. glendalough. ish.

Although a boaterX would be fun it took the lads invovled an awful lot of work to do and was seperate in organisation from the ball, so we have to wait and see. We had a static on Jacksons the year before. Before that the tradition was a pre ball meeting in someones house then collection to the ball.
