Tickets for the ball

The 13th canoe club ball will be held in Lynhams of Laragh on Saturday 3rd of March. The cost of the event will be €50. Tickets are on sale now from either myself (mobile number 0872429349), Niamh Banks or Roz. Tickets can be purchased anytime up to Sunday the 25th February.

This event will start with a drinks reception at 7pm and dinner will at 8pm sharp.

As a special offer if you pay for a table of 10 people in advance (must be 10 X €50), that table will get extra free drink.

A special 13th canoeclub ball website will be set up shortly with more details of the event

for all the normal club members who aren't too good for the IMC hut :P, the club is looking into that at the moment. details to follow. it will be possible to pay for a ball and hut ticket together once we finalise the price.

For anyone who's never been to the hut:

Think of the most bombproof party house in the world, then armor-plate it. Add people, 20 to a *ahem* bed. Add booze. And a nice big fire in the fireplace. Don't even think about staying anywhere else.

the imc hut is a fantastic place to stay.the after party ther is just brilliant.if you have them you will want to bring a sleeping bag and therma rest to sleep on, if you dont then your best bet is score to snore

Get really drunk and we will put you to bed near a fader as they usually are pretty sober when you need them to hold back your hair.

Lyhams is 65 euro a night or there are B and B which do a cheaper price in laragh. Kieran has a list of phone numbers
