Be careful of the tap water. A lot of people in ennischrone have gone down with e.coli from the water.

Cliften hole is working the weekend way more fun.

caz:
never drink the tap water there, not even in sligo town. we had the same problem of cryptosporidiosis as in Galway. also it's a really strange brown colour that doesnt look healthy.

its not the water thats unsafe...it's the hotel at the bottom of the town beside the golf course (it's only been open around 6 months!) apparently the source of the outbreak of ecoli 0157 has been traced to the hotels restaurant, the tap water in enniscrone has been okay for as long as I can remember and i've lived there for over ten yrs!
