johnnyg · October 29, 2007, 21:28:37

Hey guys, thanks for a great day out...

Special thanks go to Greg, Joxer, Cian, Kieran, Mark....for dragging me out of the uisce and getting my boat back from far away....

Cians was the most fun for me cos he told me to hang on and wrap my legs around ~~him~~ his boat... I nearly broke my arse on the rocks on the way to shore...gottra hug that boat tighter next time..

I know there were others who helped me out but I kinda lost count....

Cheers....

No need to thank them on the board.

However, looks like you got 5 pints to buy there.

This is why people say Kayaking is an expensive sport to be in

Post was edited by Mark to remind people that they have to sign up for Saturday trips to ensure adequate transport is arranged. Trip was posted as Liffey - Sluice to Wren's Nest, same stretch as last weeks trip.

Trip was never announced by committee as a Boyne trip. Unfortunately there must have been some misunderstanding somewhere though, and it's a shame you couldn't make it.

Hopefully we'll see you next week, and you can come out and do your level 2 assessment
