How to check river levels

(1/2) > >>

Jevon:
So after all the talk about the rivers going up, and checking broken gauges and whatnot, it leaves a fresher with the question... How do I check these levels?  Is there a website similar to a snow/ski report that has a listing of the the different river flow rates?

PS I hope you all had a lovely Turkey Day!

Towelyey:

hi jevon,

the most popular website i use is this one magic sea weed . It has swell reports for surf, and also rain fall for rivers.(does the job!!!)

the liffey(as it is damned) doesn't necessarily rely on rain fall, thus we use this website which gives liffey releases.

for gower and clifden we use tidal reports (+river reports for gower),

but generally speaking if its raining in ucd there'll be a river running in wicklow!!.

enjoy,

rich.
