well put pia...lets not forget the multiple blade breakages....and dont even try and blame the paddles dave, no truly dedicated paddler blames their equipment ;-)

i couldnt even imagine what its like to break your equipment....

Ah breaking gear..its not so bad.. remember- a set-back is only a set up for a come-back!

ie- breaking paddles on a huge rapid.....but still not swimming... but breaking boats is just plain stupid.
