Flaty flat flaty. If you get your ass to carlow town on friday morning I am willing to go on a serious adventure. Leave my house early friday and travel west, we could even pick up people on the way.

Could I take one of the lifts offered, not sure exactly what's going on.  I'm not really fussy where the car's going, well maybe I would prefer to go to either Achill or Cliden, but other adventures could also be nice!

I finish work in town at 6, would that be ok? I can provide cake/beer/whiskey etc ;D

first off, shakila is not a name.

secondly, it sounds like there's a whole heap of people, including drivers, willing to just go on a road trip and wing it. I suggest a carload of people (driven by Jody?) head west on Friday evening (meeting kmck along the way?) to Galway (to Clifden, Teletubbyland or to stay with Lucy?) and then decide later whether to drift up towards Achill or stay put in Galway. That's enough of a plan; let's have a show of hands for interested people. We can decide where we're going when we reach somewhere around Spiddal. Any decisions made before that are over-planning it.

Who's in?

I say Clifden the 1st night at least. Then we, who are that way inclined, can paddle & then see if we have had enough & want to move one of the following days or if there is fun to be had stay put.

The hole is working around 6/7 pm so Diarmaid will probably be drunk by the time we're off the water & happy to do whatever we tell him :)
