Scouting Ireland is having its annual race on the Liffey (from Lucan down to near the Garda Boat Club) this Sunday (Sept 21st).
The organiser, a leader in my group named Daniel Kennedy, is looking for rescue canoeists, rope throwers, sweepers, etc to make it all run smoothly.
