Mamba 7.5 and Microbat 230 for sale
« on: August 20, 2008, 13:19:04 »
Yes indeedy.

The Mamba has a dint in the nose, courtesy of its time in BC, but it's above the waterline/seam and hasn't given any problems in the year since then (rest of BC, Scotland, Italy, Ireland, etc.)  Having bought a new deck I can also attest to the fact that the boat doesn't let water in.  Orange.
€500 to you guv'nor.

The Microbat is well-maintained with two careful owners and comes complete with front and back ends, and a hole in the middle to sit into.  Yellow.
€350, cos I get a good feeling about you.

Don't tell me you bought Jim's ramshackle S6X to spice up creeking for yourself?

Ramshackle? This is one of the S Club 6 boats you're talking about here. A very elite club that I was honoured to be invited to join before I even had an S6 boat. Other people with S6s weren't even considered.

Cormac's boating will improve no doubt, as soon as he gets rid of all his boats and focuses on his strengths...

Jim.

Jim's right.

If you're not swimming you're not pushing your boating hard enough.

But if you're not boating you can't swim; I'm going to pool the money from the boats into a deckchair and some Pina Colada mix.

I think you misinterpret me Cormac - I meant that, in future, if you arrive at the river with no boat and just jump right in to the water, you'll eliminate the weakest part of your kayaking. That is, the short part where you initially get in your kayak and before you evacuate out of it again. No boat means the rest of us can cut to the chase...

You understand?

Jim.

Damnit Jim's right again!  Doesn't he ever get tired of that?

What the hell am I going to do now with 50 gallons of Pina Colada mix?
