Siobhan you know if i even tried to go near the Glens all the water would magically disapear... been there 3 times with a boat & it's never been running... some day i'll get to do it.  ::)

Wow - just had a look at the river in tuam, it's bigger than i've ever seen it (but hole tiny cause river is full at 1.6) :(.
So is anybody still thinking of heading down anywhere west for the weekend?

West is it, could you adjust it more to South and still West. I could do with being visited down here in the wilds of SW Kerry. My kayak hasn't been christened down here yet.   :(  I've had to make do with 'gulp' course kayaks. My clockwork orange M3 is too dry, even with the insane rain over the last week  :'( :'( :'(
