Broken Captcha, Spam Bots and deleted users

(1/8) > >>

Mark:
Hey,

The CAPTCHA (Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart.)on the website broke in the last SMF update, and I only figured out why today. Unfortunately while the CAPTCHA was disabled several hundred spam bots registered for the website.  I've just deleted a lot of those users, but I may have deleted a human user by mistake, so to the point:

* If you tried to register but couln't, you can register now
* If you have already registered, but can't login, I may have deleted your account so you'll need to reregister.

Thanks for taking care of us Mark. Always there for us.

Think we should send out an e-mail explaining or just wait for people to notice?
