REC course is a first aid course no need for your boat. They are very good at giving you some very important skills. Everyone who paddles or is outdoorsie or is a human being should do a first aid course.

All you need to bring is your throw bag, helmet and buoyancy aid for some scenarios. Everything else will be provided
