dive computer needed

hey all,

my sister's boyfriend is going diving in the caribbean on jan 9 and needs to get his hands on a dive computer so he can get qualified on using it.

does anybody know any divers who might be looking to get rid of one?

Best bet would be to go to Flagship Scuba behind Ringsend Bus garage and see if they have any ex-school ones. Even then I wouldn't be mad on getting one second hand.

This seems to be the cheapest computer, however, if he wants to keep up the diving then a Sunnto Gecko would be the best for a sports diver.

I have a Suunto D4 he could borrow, but I want it back in one piece.  Otherwise I could throw it in with the car for €2.5K.
