Nuala:
Now that everyone is still all competition mad after our rather successful Varsities you'll be happy to know it's not all over - there's still a chance to compete!

Yes this spring we will be taking entering the Dublin Canoe Polo League! We'll be putting together a panel of (hopefully) 10 people, training them up a bit, and unleashing them at the poor teams who have the misfortune to compete against us.

Don't worry if you don't know how to play, none of us do!   ...Yet ;)

We'll hopefully be setting up a practice pitch on the Dodder and running a few training sessions before the matches. So who is interested in joining the Dodder Rats?

That's our team name by the way, in case no-one got that.

Jer:
I goddamn love rats, count me in! Assuming I don't get bogged down with with work that is, what days would matches and training be? I assume that I should learn to hand roll for this.

JODY:
I'm up for entering the league, never had the joy of playing polo  :)

Again it kinda depends on days for training etc, from what i remember the matches are on Friday evenings?!?!

rog:
Yeah matches are on friday evenings.
I'l love to Nuala, may i suggest we train on friday evenings

Karen:
Sign me up baby!
