I agree Kylie they should live in miserable cold conditions, how else are they going to enjoy a private house if they don't.

Yes! Let's move. Those houses were horrendous and miserable. Not to mention environmentally disastrous and financially ridiculous.
Why undermine the good time we all go there to have?
Insulation, double glazing, electricity for less than €2 a half hour, heating, more beds...
YES PLEASE

lol thanks eoghan. bills generally a tidier but the obsessive tidiness on my part was mostly a product of annoyance at being too sick/drunk to paddle most days. (and before anyone tries to claim you cant be too drunk...yes, yes you can. and i can prove it by the fact that i tried to put my BA under my wetsuit one morning after. then promptly gave up on the paddling idea when i realised there was something amiss, then tidied some more and rediscovered the morning can :-P)

but sure the cold was character building i guess.. still vote glenbeigh though. :-D

There are a number of options in Glenbeigh, you should check out the http://www.thesleepycamel.com/index.html it's a hostel and they run outdoor weekends so should be used to outdoorsie people.
We stayed in very nice houses, but if you go for those I would recomend having the right number for each house, they can sleep eight comfortably. I would also point out that the landlady's daughter lives in the estate as well.
