L4 Instructor Assessment, Saturday 6th November - Free L4 Training!

Hey folks,

The ICU are running a Level 4 Instructor assessment in Wicklow next Saturday, the 6th of November and are looking for people to come along on the day.

This day is ideal for anyone looking to do some level 4 skills training, or anyone looking to do a level 4 assessment in the near future. As part of the instructor assessment, the assessees have to coach level 4 skills to a group.

Any1 thinkin of goin on this should definately do it. It's a great way to gain some free L4 training from top class paddlers.

would it be possible for me to go on it and do so badly that they revoke my out of date level three and let me go back to being a level two paddler??

Hehehe, a real skill Eoghan, you have to precision engineer a "scenario" or two to make sure you keep everyone on their toes! Especially yourself, as you clamber for the bank straight after...

I'm definitely interested, I have tickets for the Strauss Ball that night though... Ah, I'll make it work! Just need a fairy godmother type figure...
Cag and spraydeck...to dress! Helmet and river grime...to fancy hair and make up!

Totally doable.

well i "glam" it up every week...i'd say you could manage it one day of the year....  ;) :D

lets be clear here...i wasn't going to swim...just get the boat in an awkward situation....

Thus looking even more pathetic as you sit in your boat in the river demanding rescue instead of just paddling out of difficulty?
