update!! take note folks! :)
Please find attached a copy of the final timetable for the weekend – also available on http://www.wwkc.net/forum. Please ensure you are aware of the times your teams are on the water or on duty. Due to the volume of teams involved in the competition penalties will be applied to teams which get onto the water late.
make payment so please ensure this is arranged on the day in advance of your first game. Please do not send funds electronically at this point. If payment is not made you will not be allowed on the water.
A few points of note for the weekend:
Parking:
parking around the site at the rear of des kellys and to the read of the brian boru pub –the car park further up along side of the pitches is not available to us this year. Please do not park along the side of the pitches as with the
people playing it is not feasible to drive up and down this stretch of path. There will be people on site early tomorrow morning to direct people to the car parks so please just follow their instructions. Parking is limited so we are asking people
pool as much as possible to make the best use of the space we have. If you arrive late and nobody is there please do not drive up the side of the canal.
Facilities:
des kelly car park for participants use. There are no changing rooms on site.
Rules:
on this section of canal are the raised canal walls themselves. As a result there is a strict no pushing rule anywhere near these walls. Any pushing of players onto these walls will result in a card being issued to the infringing
your players are aware of this before they get on the water.
Social:
across the road from the pitches is the chosen venue for Saturday night festivities. Would be great to see as many people there as possible.

ladies on the water at 9am, everyone else at 10....
im leaving the boathouse just after 8am, not later than 8.15....
-
Here's that timetable (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Ahg-NKPSpuKidHFYVkptRzBlcGYxX2xUU0F3RnVCR2c&usp=sharing)
It looks like we've got two matches in a row - should we be asking them to change this?
We're also on duty at 9.00 - just so we know.
-
Looking forward to it! afro.gif
