That's a y-knot in case you didn't get it

That makes much more sense, at the board we couldn't figure it out until Ailbhe suggested "a frayed knot"...

Good to know you're not a dick Cormac!

ah!....first thought was "not"
then i realized it was in the shape of a "y" and i was like, is this some sophisticated way of saying "yes and no".
then i didnt have anymore time to think of it as i say the next comment.

the safety statement says "Requirements: A Level 3 proficiency certificate. If you are not in possession of one of these..."
i don't physically have my cert, what do i do for this so?
do i have a regestation number or do i need to get icu to send one out to me?
(or act as if i dont have it and get a instructor to sign off)

also im worried about my boat being stolen, should i be ?

AFAIK, if someone who is trusted or has weight behind them (thats awful phrasing?) vouches for you, you're good. Or something along those lines. Someone correct me.

Looks like I'm out unfortunately.

I was talking to Billy today. 6 going from Trinity many of whom are drivers. Might be wise to get on to them about taking more cars.

They wont go looking. If you've passed the assessment you're grand.

No

Leaving uber early Saturday morning, driving to, erm, Cork from Galway Sunday afternoon. Via possibly Limerick. If that very specific itinerary suits anyone, feel free to come along!

Did we get ICU membership last year? I can't find my card. I signed up for sea kayaking on Sunday rather than freestyle.

Contact the CI office for your number.
They have an online database now. You can just go onto canoeing Ireland and within the membership section you can log in to check anything about it

You never accepted the bet. All I owe you is a hot chocolate. Given the your boat and my lack of paddles I'm kind of surprised you didn't
