hi everybody, I'm paddling in austria at the moment came straight from france and stopped in bourg on the way to find the slalom site running at 45cumecs thats ten or fifteen more than usual and man was it big, the slalom guys were getting in at the bridge and no one was running the top section, it looked ok from the bank but when in there it was F##king huge!!! , the paddling here in austria is awesome!! most runs are really big volume, the imst gorge runs at 250 cumecs, most french alps runs are around 20 to 30 cumecs,it would be worth looking into a club trip over here next summer but only for strong paddlers, as in a definite roll and a good head cause it's very big, powerful and intimidating,
for all those heading to uganda I won't make it out can't afford it after this, oh well have a blast, sees ya's all soon
