What's this guy at, feckin on about flatwater training 😂
I dunno tbh, just thought there may be one or two souls interested to do a wee paddle on Sundays on the canal. Format would be very similar to the likes of the Wednesday jogging, where we're doing intervals of a certain length with a few minutes rest.
All you'd need is a boat (maybe the dancers...) paddles and ba. Wetsuits and cags not necessary cause you'll be getting hot like. And helmets not really need either tbh. Be a good opportunity to practice the other wobbly boats too
I dunno if people are interested, just thought I'd ask cause I'll be doing it anyways (hopefully with Greg too). Be lovely for days like today like

Any interest in evenings midweek?
-
If people are borrowing club dancers, I think we'd prefer they wear helmets. I know it's not the done thing on the canal, but it doesn't detract from the training at all, and the extra safety is no harm.

Sounds like a great idea, won't be around for it myself, but definitely agree with the helmets thing if using club gear, safe fun is fun fun!:) Everyone is gonna be so big and strong for varasites :discopaddler: :paddlefit: :discopaddler:

Yep I'll be doing it and ya Diarmuid I'll probably be up for a couple of midweek nights
-
Ah fair so. Helmets too
Yup Diarmuid, thinking of possibly Monday's and Tuesdays given the club has stuff on all other days of the week.
-
Would agree with 4 there 👍
Also gear borrowing forms.
Wouldn't be able to commit myself
-
I would be up for it every so often whenever I can yeah!
Would like to try some wobbly boats :canoe:
