Title: Rescue for Glenalbian Open Water Swim
Post by: Poohy on May 16, 2016, 12:54:01: Hey guys, Just got a call from Breccene from Glanalbian swim club.

He is wondering if about 5 or 6 people would be available on ~~Saturday the 28th of May~~ to provide rescue for an open water swim in Sea Point. He doesnt know start times yet, but it will take about 3 hours. you get paid €50 each and if it goes over the 3 hour mark, you get €60.

So.. turns out he got the dates wrong and this is actually on the Saturday the 4th of June.. A week later.

Also start time is about 10am

Can ye all still do these dates?

Post by: sara griffin on May 30, 2016, 09:49:08: So the plan is we meet at 11 at Seapoint. I've been advised to be there a bit earlier to get parking. Braccen will give us a safety brief, give us hi.vis jackets and tell us where he wants us positioned. The races are set to kick off at 12 midday.
