Title: Rescue for Glenalbian Open Water Swim
Post by: Poohy on May 16, 2016, 12:54:01
Hey guys, Just got a call from Breccene from Glanalbian swim club.

He is wondering if about 5 or 6 people would be available on Saturday the 28th of May to provide rescue for an open water swim in Sea Point. He doesnt know start times yet, but it will take about 3 hours. you get paid €50 each and if it goes over the 3 hour mark, you get €60.

So.. turns out he got the dates wrong and this is actually on the Saturday the 4th of June.. A week later.

Also start time is about 10am

Can ye all still do these dates?

Let me know if you are interested!

Interested:
1) Jocano
2) John Entights - Still good
3) Sara(maybe) - still good
4) Yvette
5) Kieran - still good
6) Naddy - still good

Just after talking with Braccen he's gonna contact me Monday with all the details. He told me that they will be starting around 12 midday.

So the plan is we meet at 11 at Seapoint. I've been advised to be there a bit earlier to get parking. Braccen will  give us a safety brief, give us hi.vis jackets and tell us where he wants us positioned. The races are set to kick off at 12 midday.
