Title: Alps 2019
Post by: sara griffin on January 04, 2019, 12:09:25
Anyone any interest in heading to the alps this year?

Early post to ensure I get time off. I currently have 18th May- 9th June off.

I'm best man at a wedding on the 8th of June. Not that I'm going paddling just felt I needed to say that. I'd be interested in an alps trip work dependent

I'm potentially interested. I'll probably only have enough time off for a week so I'd link up with whatever the group is doing (as long as it's Italy)

Bit later? 4/5? We can get mark there for some of it then and we'll only be missing one person

Why don't we do 5 in UCD? Then people can just go on to polo after?

For those going this year, especially those going for your first time I would strongly recommend reading the river guides before you get there. Makes the whole trip far more enjoyable if you know more about the rivers before you start paddling them. https://www.i-canoe.com/en/Accessories___Outfitting.27/Books__DVDs__Videos___Maps.88/Books.72/+/WWSA/White_Water_Southern_Alps__3rd_Edition.197.html (https://www.i-canoe.com/en/Accessories___Outfitting.27/Books__DVDs__Videos___Maps.88/Books.72/+/WWSA/White_Water_Southern_Alps__3rd_Edition.197.html)
