Title: Thule Roof bars
Post by: Scabidas on April 28, 2013, 17:35:43
Have a set of Thule roof bars. Unsure as to what car they came from or what cars they fit so check the pictures. 30 euro

Very Interested.
Do these fit in between the car door and roof or are they to be mounted on roof rails?

I won't be around Dublin for a while but would be keen on seeing if they fit my yoke. (yaris)

They're definitely not roof rail type but other than that I've no idea. From looking at pictures of yaris' with roof bars it seems that they are very similar. If they fit your yaris welcome to have it :)

I think 30 is fair on here, will stick them up for 50 on canoes and kayaks

Thats the thing, I've checked everywhere and can't find anything. Your just gonna have to base it off pictures or trying them.

Did you get a fitting tool with them? Thule seem to keep going on about needing to buy a fitting tool?

Nope they dont seem to need a fitting tool. Theres a screw thing that you twist by hand that tighten them.

Fairly certain its that one yeah. Everything is spot on except on the ones I have there is no plastic handle on the twisty part, its just metal.

Grand so, it seems I'll be in Dublin from Wednesday night/ Thursday afternoon. If your not down for study week I could call in to you if your not too far out of the way. I've forget where exactly your based however! If these fit I would gladly take them.

No idea :D I guy came and picked them up earlier and said he was asked to get them for a club. I think they're semi universal roof racks that should fit a decent amount of cars though
