I'd say Niall isn't going to get back to you, given that he isn't in the country, but I'd be thinking he wouldn't be going to this, don't think he knows when he is coming back yet
-
Well lads, sorry only getting back to you now. I'm back the 2nd of Sept but have my graduation on the 4th and don't think I'd be in any state to be doing first aid after that! Thanks though, and fair play for organising it!

Hey guys, we are asking mountaineering if they would like to do it with us as we have 7 more places, so if ye want a place for definite, ye need to let us know ASAP.

Story so? I presume we don't need any kayaking gear, do we?
-
Can you do this with a dodgy ankle? :-[ like, we dont need to run or kayak do we?
Also, have mountaineering gotten back to you yet simon?
-
We can use you as a dummy Ailbhe :P
Mountaineering want four spaces and I mentioned the final three to Margot to see if DUKC want them :)
-
You can definitely do it with a dodgy ankle Ailbhe. Light walking and careful lifting generally all that happens.
-
By the way can anyone else drive
-
Bring some paddling gear ie helmet, B/aid and your first aid kit if you have one. Also bring a boat for scenario's

Here's what is needed
Everyone will need waterproof over trousers and jacket ,outdoor boots. A headtorch . small notepad and pencil. Small backpack also usefull for students to carry snacks and extra clothing. We spend up to 2 plus hours on outdoor scenarios and on the riverbank. A couple of kayaks and pfds would also be useful as scenario props
