Friday afternoon and Sunday paddling please. I've cycled through enough rivers this morning, I feel I deserve to have a paddle on one.

You sure you want to bring someone who plays gay frisbee Lorcan?? Think about it, you could be called gay by association.

Clearly, gay frisbee makes tag rugby look decidedly manly.

Don't worry it's and intelligence test devised by Jim. Just move your mouse around until it changes to a finger.

Don't worry Maria, you'd be surprised at how many highly-educated people can't get past the idiot filter.

Click on the 'o' in the word 'dot' and then on the 'News' link on the right.

I'm intending to rejig the website and make it easier to navigate, maybe tomorrow.

Una: Yes.

All: A little late I know, but the Glenmacnass was tankin' this afternoon - I'm talking playwaves at the bridge in Laragh.

Sunday would be fantastic for a Glens run?

I would also love to get out paddling sometime this weekend but unfortunately will probably be boat-less as the club will have them all in Lahinch..... unless anyone is feeling really generous and wants to give me a lift and a boat for the day????

Diarmuid, it's ultimate frisbee, source of hours of slagging me from the lads.  They are just jealous.

Anyway, Jody reminds me...I've no boat (or deck or paddles)...and the club are in Lahinch...and Kerry is away (hmm...can I still swipe her spare gear?). But I wanna paddle!!!  Not the Glenmacnass, I'd be creamed.  But I'll cheer from the bank if you drag me down the Annamoe first.

Úx

PS I do have a car and roof rack to transport people though.

In which case I'll paddle anywhere on the sunday with you (Since the glens idea never really got off the ground) ;D

Hmm Sunday's not good for me (yes I've Frisbee training, as I said before ye are all just jealous), but I'm free all day Saturday.

So far there seems to be just me, Jody and Carl for Saturday? Lorcan & Kill simply want to avoid me, Kerry just wanted to slag me and Jim and Maria swung by for randomness.

There must be more stragglers around than that!!!!

PS My flatmate just poured glasses of wine down my throat, hence my stroppyness.

To what does the 'ultimate' part of 'ultimate frisbee' refer? I mean, is there some other kind of gay frisbee that isn't ultimate? Was there a previous incarnation of this limp-wristed game that someone one day decided wasn't extreme enough and altered the game to make it more manly, tougher - more 'ultimate' in some way? I can't imagine how silly the non-ultimate version must have been. The mind boggles.

And Una, seriously, you can't go kayaking because you're 'training' to throw a plastic disc around a field?

Yes, what can I say? I even started the sentence with a conjunction. It's been a long week.

On a related note - isn't the 'modify' facility great?

Oh, and Mark, the message board's clock is an hour ahead.

You can adjust the time zone in your profile settings. if memory serves, it should be set to -1.

I'd like to go paddling in Wicklow, preferably on Sunday as I've lectures on Saturday and I really should start attending them at some point. I can give lifts.

Cheers everyone for encouraging me down Annamoe yesterday, I've lost my voice (again) from my shouting. Delighted I'm not out there today, what miserable weather!

Looking forward to getting back out there again soon!
