Title: Varsities Querries

Hey guys, if anyone has any varsities questions or wants to change anything about the comp, let me know as i have to email ronan back by SUnday at the latest.

SO the deadline to query the events is wedensday.. let me know by then what ye think about the events and i will relay them on to the committee :)

Also would they be not better off running ww on the same day as slalom seen as you can't do both. Might work well for their sake or might not

I doubt they'd have the man power to run WW and slalom together...their club is TINY!

Really Greg?? I can't wait for 1km!! Hungover it'll be a tough enough challenge

Yeahibwas a bit taken aback by only 1k long distance as well, might suggest about 2k

Will question the slalom timings, for a smaller penalty for hitting a post

They sent in the pack that polo cant play slalom so I am going to say I thought it was ww cant do slalom

2km? Are you trying to kill me? 😜

It was originally polo/Slalom but small clubs had the issue so they changed it C&S weekend..

Having polo being different to slalom would mean you'd need 20 people, which is a lot for some of the smaller clubs...

In terms of their own ability to run LD, if they do 1k, I don't think the GPs will be spaced out enough for them to be easy to take results

Yeah, we questioned the polo slalom thing and voted that polo can do slalom now.

Dont worry, i have sent an email asking for the LD to be at least 2k for GP :)
