Well folks, hopefully we'll get a trip to wicklow this weekend but that depends on numbers. Please post up if you'll be going on the river trip.
Also post up if you'll be there to do rescue.

Hey Dave.
It looks as if a lot of people are heading to the Boater cross. It might be a good idea if you want to cancel the trip and bring the freshers up to have a look at the event. And see top international athletes (aka Pissheads) compete in ireland.

Yeah good idea Lorcan. And they can cheer on S Club 6!!!
-
Whats the dealio Sat? I'm more than likely up for it :)
-
With the amount of people, the traffic and parking restrictions in place around buckies bridge the option is claravale church down to rathdrum or Annamoe bridge down to trooperstown. I would recommend the boyne as it will be a nice level and those of us driving can give lifts to freshers to the party then they can watch on sunday.

Is it possible to get on at the picnic site near Clara Lara and then on down to Clara Vale?
-
wherever we're going, im there
-

One more week and I'll be out on the water again. Hopefully youse won't have used it all up by the time I get there....
BTW - Is the message board dead, is this the new board?
-
hey count me in wherever we're going.... il be at the boathouse for 10 regardless
-
will definitley be there on saturday no matter where we go! ::)
-
Count me in first club trip in 18 months so be gentle. Feck watching! DO let others watch us. Boyne would be nice, Wicklow would be nicerer.
I probably won't have a car.
-
i'll be there if there's a trip going ahead
-
count me in, haven't yet experienced the joy of the boyne or wicklow yet >:(, so can't wait either way
-
Ill be there anyway wherever we go
-
Will be there with bells on!...yes actual bells
-
Ill be there on saturday, would love to do wicklow again.
The new site looks great :)
-
I seriously doubt there will be any water in Wicklow after the drought that was this week. I vote for Boyne.
Don't worry Mick, I can show you which bit's of the paddle go in the water. I look forward to paddling in your company once again. It has been all to sane over the past 18 months.
-
Hey
Count me in for sat either way.
-
With Daddy Brendino on this one, no water in wicklow. Boyne would be better for everyone. Especially your rescue. On another note those wishing to go to the boatercross party I will give lifts to people based on first come first served, looks and of course any strange talent you might have. Lifts back is another thing I will be hiking on sunday so you may need to beg borrow and steal to get back.
-
I'm makong a call nice and late on this, It's the boyne baby!!!!!
Not enough water for wicklow... ???
And now it's too late for you all to post up bollocks to try and change my mind Ha ha ha ha.
-
See you in Wicklow ::)
CHUMPS
-
Irregardless of where we are going, although I hear...
It's the boyne baby!!!!!
...it's gonna be cold, so either:
a) bring lots of thermals/fleeces/wetsuits for yourself (no cotton, none, not even bras*)
or
b) don't come crying to me when you're all cold an stuff.
We're serious about this - people who we deem don't have enough or the right gear with them will not be allowed on the river.
Cormac (Normally a nice guy).
*This is an equal opportunities post and the above comment applies to both genders
