Hey guys,
I am trying to organise a level 4 assessment with Laura Griffin. There is no date as of yet as we need to wait for rain. Hopefully It will be over the Christmas break sometime though. Who would be interested? There is no point in running one if no one else wants to do it :P
interested:
1) Ailbhe T
2) The Hoare
3) Cat woman
4) Sexual Healy

Yep id be interested, is lvl 4 training required beforehand?

It isn't; but I'd recommend it if you are uncertain of anything in the assessment. Look up the notes on the CI website, it is a step up from Level 3
-
Yes plz
-
Hmmmm... possibly, maybe interested. Hope thats not too vague
-
So I'd quite like to get this done. Mark, ailbhe, (maybe not sara) are ye still interested. Anyone else? If we have 3/4 committed people we can start asking around to get one run
-

I was onto Jenny there she said she'd do one and will get back to me soon with possible dates so I'll let ye know what she says

Jenny suggested Sunday 25th March. Larragh 80euro per person. Does this suit people? Its the same weekend as the ball so it shouldnt be clashing with anything else
-
Yeah that suits me I think. Ball Friday, MPL saturday and then Assessment Sunday... sounds like a pretty sweet weekend :D
-
Sweet to the beat Greg

Might be just a bit too early for my return to the water. Can take my name off the list for now.

10am -4pm. She only said larragh didn't specify a section or river. I believe annamoe bridge/trooperstown down to but not including jackson falls is the usual section for L4 assessment in larragh. She said she'd confirm exact details closer to the time

Yup, ours was bridge down to just above jacksons. Also, this date could work out really well for yous cause you could stay at the imc hut the second night and not have to get up early :D

Also have a look at the equipment list. Jen really wanted us to have close to everything on the list, and also for it to be our own :P
Get bomber at Xrescues - very important. Get used to stern carries. Practice rope throws. Know your first aid inside out (you should already :) )
