Title: Kilkenny Polo - cancelled

According to Niall's paddling calendar (http://forum.ucdcanoeclub.com/index.php/topic,10612.0.html) there's a polo competition coming up in Kilkenny on the 17th (2 weeks time).

It's a 1 day competition.

There's also a marathon on in Leixlip Lake if you look at the marathon section.

So who else is up for this? I would have to get the entry in on Monday.

I would expect it to be loads of fun and a great chance to get game time.
I reckon that the whole team (very much including myself) learned loads on the last one and this should be the same.

Entry will be e60 for the team.

Nope, the rsr is on the saturday and polo is on the sunday.

so yea, ill be driving down, its only down to kilkenny with a fraction of the gear so ill be able to take 4 other people,

we have 3 club helmets (and 2 of UCCs coz i couldnt give them back) and ive my old gaa one so wer sorted for that, then weve 3 decks, niall has 2 more, so if we could locate another 2 decks somewhere that should cover all of us.....


well sort out boats over the next week hopefully..

I'm afraid that because the river in Kilkenny on which the matches were going to be held is currently burst its banks and won't be playable on Sunday. Which is a bit shit.

Sorry about this guys, obviously it's nothing that anybody could control but it's pretty annoying none the less.

They say that they're going to try and have it when Summer actually arrives.
