Mali - exploring the mosque in Djenne, the Tuareg encampments, boatride on the Niger to the legendery Timbuktu, trekking in Dogon country. The home of Amadou et Mariam, sahara hot nights, Bamako and Mopti.

Or...

Benin - buying wierd food in the market, the centre of voodoo in Africa

Ghana - butterflies and smiles

Senegal - fast food Dakar, traditional values imbued with French influence and changing with American clutural imperialism lends itself to a funky fundamentalism, quranic teaching from the high minarets.

Sierra Leone - I know my parents would never forgive for even entertaining a thought about entering this country, but... there's the search of King Solomons mines, kerosene lamps, beaches.

Is no one else curious?

Anyone?

I heard there was talk of a new venue for new years. Some where further north.

There was talk on freestyle but it is way too late to change for this year. If people want to move you have to do what Ritche gillespe and Allio did to move it to castlegregory. They researched houses, and the area and then on mass moved the clubs before the summer. Then there was time to convince oldies to moved and it was reasonably successful. Alan, wanted to move completely in another direction i.e north.

Bex as you are now a committee member and Kerry IS a Club Trip- you are forbidden from going anywhere in west, north, east or south africa. If I have to spend the week collecting fresher money, making dinner and cleaning up a puke filled club house then i'm taking you down with me!!!

Now that i think about it- it'll just be easier to let the freshers give me their money, make their own dinners and clean up their own puke!!!

better yet, budget wisely now so that you can afford not to take money in Kerry, and feed the freshers puke for dinner. as long as it came from a different fresher they'll be none the wiser.
