Title: Level 2 Instructor training
Post by: johnf95 on November 16, 2018, 17:09:21
So to become a level 2 instructor you must have a level 3 skills cert.
You must also attend a training weekend and log hours after that like driving lessons.
it costs 175 euro

Canoeing ireland have offered that if we book a group of 8 in one we will get a 10% discount. As far as I know we can get half of it subsidised by ucd as well as it is beneficial to the club in the long run by cutting down on outside instructors.

The weekend is really good even if you never do your instructorship as you learn the correct methods of teaching newcomers to the sport which is handy in itself.

So this post is just to gauge interest of whomst'd be interested. we can fill up any extra spaces to make 8 from outside the club no problem. Who's in?
