So the scealio is.....we will hopefully be heading back to wicklow as long as the water levels drop off a bit - otherwise it'll be the liffey or the boyne.
THIS IS GONNA BE THE LAST CLUB TRIP BEFORE THE TRIP TO KERRY over New Years (more info to come) so c'mon guys lets round off a great year with a big group bouncing all the way down WICKLOW!!!
It would be a great way to follow on from what we hope will be a big night out on Thursday with old and new members celebrating the...(anyone wanna find a word to fill this).....that is the Sean Mac Dermott street pool! :)
Please make sure you have a full wetsuit with a fleece underneath or adequate thermals, decent footwear (old runners, booties or river shoes) and drykit! There are loads of wetsuits in the boathouse for anyone who mightn't have one yet.
So sign up here - before Thursday (to be sure of a place on the bus!).

I agree. I hate correcting English mistakes. Things are bad enough when I have to go through a group essay to correct the English with a German, a French guy, a Romanian and three Chinese without bad English on here. I say whippings for text speak or generally bad English. Or buy everyone in the club a pint at the next club event (a way to keep numbers up and improve English - a win-win situation). Or Karen can just keep correcting them.
And yes, I am in a ranting mood because I've just finished going through that essay and still have one to write for another class as well as 2 presentations in the next 2 days and an exam 2 days before Christmas.

Rathdrum to the meetings might too high man, I'd say we'll run the buckys bridge to clara vale section, or possibly the aughrim if its at a nice level.

There is an issue with rathdrum to the meetings, there was building works ongoing at the railway bridge. You might want to ask someone if they are still there? Will see how the week goes to see if I can get out. As usual I will be driving and won't affect the bus.

Conor took the Icu club on sunday down the rathdrum to meetings section. ill be talking to him during the week so can ask if there is any problems with it

the boyne probably wont be an option if wicklow is 2 high, it had burst its banks this weekend and it drops off much slower than wicklow.

The weather's on while im writing this. More rain tonight and tomorrow but "showers".

Yeah everything is pretty high at the moment - the Liffey, Boyne and Avonmore are all huge.
With more rain due this week we're gonna have to wait and see what the levels are like closer to Saturday and then decide where to go.

I had a fun day, a huge thanks to the men who man'd up and pushed my car not just up and over a bridge but got it down again. Girls even standing near such manly men can cause pregnancy so potent is their manliness.

No no, I'm essentialy logging hours at home doing jobs/"study" to weasel my way into certain parental good books so I can go out on Thursday... Apparently its "a little close to the start of my exams" >:( I'll convince them right out of that!

The gift didnt need to be used anymore once i had to college, it had been so effective i had everything my way by then. My personal favourite when it was still needed though was 'going babysitting', it's not suspicious that you have a big bag with you, cause you have to study when you're babysitting of course, and you have no control over how late you'll be home and they don't think you're out so they don't worry about you so there's no chance they'll be awake (if they're the type of parents that do that, mine weren't, but anyway) when you eventually come home, not dressed in the same clothes you went out in, blind drunk having had a great night in bondi or that club in ranelagh that i can't remember the name of. Babysitting was fun!!! angel.gif
