Our lovely varsities PRO Niamh has organised some fabulous social events for the weekend!
In keeping with varsities tradition, there will of course be varsities t-shirts this year!
The T-shirt’s which come with the wristbands will cost €20. The wristband will give you access to the areas booked for both nights in McGowans and Copan, and promise much fun ahead!
The t-shirts are available in sizes extra small to extra large (XS-XL), they're unisex sizes so if you small like me, you might want one of the smaller sizes:)

As a quick Varsities summary for anyone new to this weekend:
Varsities is often regarded as the highlight of the kayaking calendar, with various races and competitions between all of the college kayaking clubs in Ireland and Northern Ireland!
It is a really fun weekend with lots of competitive and social events, there really is something for everyone!
Everyone can do the long distance race and its a great chance to try out some of the LD boats too!
And of course, most exciting of all, this year UCD Canoe Club is hosting varsities!!!!

- Long Distance: 13:00 Salmon Leap, Leixlip, Co. Kildare
Sunday 18 February 2018
- Polo: 09:00 Kilcock, Co. Kildare
Night Life
- Friday: McGowans
- Saturday Night: Copan in Rathmines (FANCY DRESS!!)
This year the fancy dress theme is Reeling in the Years!!!
Every college will have a year as their theme and UCD's theme is the year 1980!!
