So a pretty cool scheme has been realised (we've been going on about it for ages but cheers to Simon for pushing it) with the idea of ridding the boathouse of the graveyard boats - broken boats not used for anything - and putting them to good use. Quite like NAMA really except we won't be selling...
So the plan would be to fix repairable boats
If you have a broken boat in the boat house (or know someone who might not be on this anytime soon and owns a boat) then collect it or by this weekend it becomes club property (it genuinely will be put to a good cause if it is in anyway repairable). Or of course if the owner contacts us directly to plead its case we can try work it out on an individual basis blah blah blah....
The repair stuff isn't on loan permanently so the plan would be to get a move on it fast.
Obviously a few boats too far gone will be kept for urban kayaking etc
And anyone being pedantic - the fact they mightn't be 100% structurally sound wouldn't affect the club because their intended use is not quite that simple 8)

You might want to consider giving notice of more than 3 days.
Just a though from someone who wouldn't have a hope in hell getting there by the weekend!

Like the post says if thats the case PM eoghan to sort something out.

Whatever happened to the G-Force? Man that boat and I have had some adventures... mostly with an elastic band as a backrest.
-
ah yeah its still in action!
This is more so related towards broken boats that don't get used/will never really be capable of running bigger rivers

Yeah, I've already been onto Simon.
