Team time trial down the run in to jacksons and jacksons waterfall! Get time knocked off for showing some style, brown clawing, paddle tossing, running the meat! Get tons of time off for getting you and/or your entire team into the energizer eddy in one go!
top teams go head to head in semi's and finals to take the title.

Everyman/women for themselves. Race over our tricky course teva games style! Skip a task or miss an eddy and we'll add time on! evil.gif

Can I count as a college person? I'm studying an undergrad.. And more importantly I want to paddle but it would unfair to any team that got me as their "oldie"..

surly the "college type" can be a first year collage student.
this just means someone not in the canoe club right?
college type is anyone in college (undergraduate), excluding freshers of the club! therefore tey make up 2 of the 3 spots on the team

Now it might change if water levels went crazy (UNLIKELY) but everyone who's been in the club since september would be able! (we'll hopefully have run a club trip down it previous to this)

Maybe if people sign up like a club trip we can see what we have a few days b4 the event and then make the distinctions between oldie and college type, we'll also work on seeing what oldies are gonna enter so we can assign oldies to people

best thing is just to post up your team! if you think your a fresher go with it... if you think your a college type your probably right.
Theres no need to be too finicky with it.
For now Fresher is 1st year in the club.
College type is anyone else who hasn't graduated from an undergrad..... including Jer who may never graduate from an undergraduate. (i saw him trying on the UCD homeless mans coat last week....surprise surprise it fits.)
No minimal experience cause you might be a class fresher or a really shit oldie. the natural balance will always prevail.

Hi everyone,
It is with deep regret that myself and Rog are calling off the BoaterX, we just haven't got the rain to run the event. Thank you to everyone who offered help and assistance to get the event going.
We will however still be giving away ALL the prizes we've accumulated!
