I was thinking about polo helmets and how I've seen a few hurling helmets at the DCPL, would the club be interested in bulk prices on these?
Hurling helmets are 50e a pop at this stage for senior helmets... Don't think u will get any huge deal on them
I know a guy who used to import hockey helmets (Helmet and face guard separate) and put them together and it turned out a good bit cheaper. I'd have to ask him if he still does though...
hurling helmets; they're not really too good...and not strictly allowed. Some people like them though.

I know they're from Britain, but they say that most of Europe has free postage, and that's a good deal. The second one has an extra 10% off if you get 10+.

Glad u've seen the light Garbh.... hurling helmets only good when thers a leatherball or a wooden stick flyin at ur face.... (voice of experience speaking here) and with all the new regulations insurance reasons etc. they cost a bomb :( (also from the voice of experience)
Also came across this website.. dont know if ther anygood but might do a deal if ur looking for this in bulk... haggling is always worth a try :)
Saw this too.... http://www.donedeal.ie/for-sale/watersports/3102281

Anyone looking for a first boat? Great outdoors have one of these (http://www.daggereurope.com/product/index/product_homepage/whitewater/action_kayaks/axiom_series_action/axiom_8_0_action/) for sale for €400 ( you could possibly get them down a bit). It's definitely used but seems to be in good nick.
Also, there's an actual playboat (http://forum.iww.ie/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1074) for sale on Irishwhitewater.
- those boats on donedeal look quite speculatively priced...
It does often have good deals on gt/inazone type boats though.

AIR BAGShttp://www.i-canoe.com/Rescue/Airbags.htm
Their general ones there on i-canoe are about €18, but I saw them for €15 in Gods at Christmas.
Eugh...they should only be a tenner.
Edit: I just looked at the i-canoe website - those ones for €18 are really bad too. Karen got some of those a few years ago and they only lasted about a year before completely falling apart.
I just want to stress getting airbags and covering them with UCDCC and tying them in an awkward way so they stay in club boats!

Do not get bouancy aids with zips, zips and the canoe club do not mix.
Great Outdoors are having a sale...
