The Deirdre Conroy Perpetual Cup

The Deirdre Conroy Perpetual Cup (Dee Cup) will be presented at 19:15 in Room 116, Agricultural Science Building, Belfield on Tuesday the 3rd of April 2012 by the club captain and previous winner Eoghan O'Riordan .

The Dee Cup is in memory of Deirdre Conroy and is presented to the most improved paddler over the previous year. The winner of the cup is decided by the club captain, with input from the committee and kayaking coaches. A short speech will be given by Simon Coyle Rowan about who Deirdre Conroy was and on the meaning of the Dee Cup.

After the presentation has finished, a social evening will be organised at a separate location for all to attend.

This is always a memorable event and an important date in the UCD Canoe Club year. All are invited to attend.

Previous winners of the Deirdre Conroy Memorial Cup:

Eoghan O'Riordan         2011
Leighton Hoban            2010
Karen Vejsbjerg            2009
