It's that time of the year boys and girls, it's time for LAHINCH 2012
It'll be on from 16th - 18th November. It's our COLOURS competition with our Trinity counterparts and is set to be an awesome weekend filled with kayaking, debauchery and fun ! Like Freshers' Weekend, Saturday night will be Fancy Dress, though this time it's themed - this year's theme is "Make your own Superheroes (and Sidekicks)" !
We'll be kayak surfing on the Saturday - so don't forget: towel, swimming trunks, old runners and any thermals that you have.
Other Stuff you may need:
> Booze - Lahinch is a big enough place, it will have an oul Off Licence for drink if you need it. Though you'll need drink for the bus down on Friday evening.
> Money - We'll be heading to the pub on Friday and Saturday evening so you may want to bring a few dolla for that.
> Food - The club will be providing breakfast on Sat. and Sun. and dinner on Saturday Evening but you may want to bring food/money incase you're likely to be hungry.
> Fancy Dress Costume - This is a must have for the weekend. This year's theme is "Make your own Superheroes (and Sidekicks)" - after the costumes we saw at Fresher's Weekend we're expecting a lot from you guys !
The trip will again cost 55 Euro which will cover the cost of your transport, accomodation, food, gear and instructors for the weekend. We'll be meeting up to pack the trailer on the Friday (time to be confirmed).
- N.B. - If you can't make the trailer packing for some reason either get a friend to pack your gear for you, or give Diarmuid a text (last resort).
Also to private boat owners - don't expect someone to sort your stuff for you without letting anyone know !
Attention
To guarantee you spot on the trip you'll have to get your money to our lovely Treasurer Ellen ! Ellen will be at the Pool sessions (6th, 8th, 13th and 15th), as well as the Saurday trip this weeknd. On top of this, if you can't get to any of these sessions, you can meet Ellen in Eng. during the week. Just give her a text beforehand and sort it out (086-0765087)
